CleanAir at FILTECH 2026: research, innovation, and international dialogue on filtration

From 30 June to 2 July 2026, CleanAir will be حاضر at FILTECH 2026, the leading international event for the filtration industry, taking place in Cologne, Germany, at KoelnMesse Halls 7+8.
You will find us at stand G18, hall 7.

This edition will be particularly important for us for another reason as well: CleanAir will be part of the official conference programme with a technical presentation focused on one of the most relevant topics for bag filter efficiency, namely pulse-jet cleaning. The spotlight will be on the work carried out by CleanAir, developed in collaboration with Politecnico di Milano.

CleanAir in the conference programme

The official FILTECH 2026 conference programme includes the technical contribution by CleanAir Europe, developed together with Politecnico di Milano, entitled:

“Thermo-fluid-dynamic characterization of pulse jet cleaning of fabric filter bag units through computational fluid dynamic simulations.”

The presentation is scheduled for 2 July 2026, within session L12 – Filtration Fundamentals and Lab Scale Tests, in Room 3, during the time slot 13:00 – 14:15. The programme lists G. V. Messa from Politecnico di Milano and, for CleanAir Europe, C. Maggi and L. Montanelli.

The topic: pulse-jet cleaning and fluid-dynamic analysis

Pulse-jet cleaning is one of the processes that most strongly affects the long-term performance of a bag filter. The quality of the pulse, its distribution along the bag, and the fluid-dynamic behavior of the system directly influence key factors such as dust cake regeneration efficiency, operational stability, compressed-air consumption, and component lifespan.

For this reason, the contribution that CleanAir will present at FILTECH 2026 addresses the topic through an advanced technical approach based on CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) simulations. The goal is to analyze the thermo-fluid-dynamic behavior of pulse-jet cleaning more accurately and understand how this information can support the design of more efficient and reliable filtration solutions.

From research to industrial application

For CleanAir, taking part in the FILTECH conference programme means bringing its approach to industrial filtration into a highly specialized environment—an approach that combines application experience, product development, and collaboration with the research world.

The collaboration with Politecnico di Milano represents an important step in this direction, because it allows scientific analysis to be transformed into concrete tools for improving plant efficiency. It is not only about studying flow behavior, but about turning these findings into design criteria and solutions that can have a real impact on filtration systems.

Meet us at FILTECH 2026

We will be pleased to meet you at FILTECH 2026 to talk about industrial filtration, innovation, and technical development. The trade fair is a valuable opportunity to engage directly with the CleanAir team, discover our solutions up close, and explore in greater depth the topics we will also be presenting in the conference programme.

If you would like to learn more about the research we will present, or discuss applications, retrofits, or new design needs, come and visit us at stand G18, hall 7.

See you in Cologne.
